10 Craft Ideas to do With Rudolph Coloring Pages

Once those beautiful Rudolph coloring pages are finished and piling up, don't let them sit in a drawer—use these easy, budget-friendly crafts to transform them into holiday magic!

1. 3D Pipe Cleaner Antler Crown

Cut out Rudolph’s colored face from the page and glue it to the center of a sturdy strip of brown construction paper measured to fit your child's head. Staple the ends of the strip together to form a wearable headband. To make it pop, poke tiny holes right over his printed antlers and thread brown pipe cleaners through, twisting them into 3D branches that stand upright.

2. “Foggy Night” Mason Jar Lantern

Cut out the silhouette of your colored Rudolph and use Mod Podge to adhere him to the outside of a clean mason jar. Cover the rest of the jar in layers of blue and white tissue paper to mimic a foggy Christmas Eve, but leave a clear spot right where Rudolph’s nose is. Drop a red LED battery-operated tea light inside so his famous red nose literally glows through the fog.

3. Springy Bobble-Nose Puppet

Glue your colored Rudolph face to a paper plate for stability, then cut him out. Punch a small hole right where his nose is, and fold a thin strip of red paper into an accordion “spring” (or use a small metal spring). Glue one end of the spring to a giant red pom-pom and feed the other end through the hole, taping it to a craft stick handle on the back so the red nose bounces and jiggles when played with.

4. Island of Misfit Toys Diorama

Paint the inside of an empty shoebox blue and white to look like the snowy Island of Misfit Toys. Cut out your finished Rudolph, glue him to a small cardboard standee, and place him inside the box. Add a few mismatched toy drawings or small plastic figurines around him to recreate this classic scene from the movie.

5. “Reindeer Games” Pin-the-Nose Poster

Glue a large, colored Rudolph head onto a piece of poster board, but cut out or color over his red nose so it is blank. Paint a snowy athletic field in the background to set the “Reindeer Games” scene. Cut out several circular “noses” from red felt or construction paper, add double-sided tape to the back of each, and let the kids play a custom party game.

6. Real-Twig Antler Jewelry Organizer

Mount your colored Rudolph face onto a thick piece of cardboard for durability. Carefully punch two holes at the top of his head and push real, branched twigs from the backyard through the holes, securing them with hot glue on the back. Mount the cardboard to a heavy wooden block so you can hang rings, keys, or festive necklaces on Rudolph's rustic antlers.

7. Pull-String Flying Rudolph Toy

Cut out the body, front legs, and back legs of your colored Rudolph separately, reinforcing them with thin cardboard. Connect the limbs to the torso using metal brads so they can swing freely. Tie strings to the tops of the legs behind his body and join them to a main pull-string below, so when you pull it down, Rudolph “gallops” through the air.

8. “Guiding Light” Christmas Countdown

Paste your finished Rudolph illustration onto a piece of cardboard and carefully cut out a circular window where his red nose is. Attach a rotating cardboard wheel behind the page using a brass fastener, numbering the wheel from 1 to 25. Each day of December, turn the wheel so a new countdown number shines directly through Rudolph's nose window.

9. Pop-Up “Over the Fog” Greeting Card

Fold a piece of dark blue cardstock in half to make a holiday greeting card. Cut your colored Rudolph out of the page and glue him to a pop-up paper step inside the fold of the card. Glue pulled apart cotton balls along the bottom of the card to create a low-lying “fog,” so Rudolph literally rises above the clouds when the card is opened.

10. Corner Antler Bookmark

Cut out just the upper forehead, eyes, and antlers of your colored Rudolph page. Glue this piece onto a simple origami corner bookmark folded from brown construction paper. When slipped onto the corner of your page, Rudolph's eyes and antlers will peek out over the top of the book, “guiding” you right back to your reading spot.
