Once those beautiful Budgie coloring pages are filled with vibrant colors, don't let them pile up! These easy, affordable crafts put them to imaginative use.
Carefully cut out several of your finished colored budgies. Attach a piece of string or fishing line to the top of each budgie with tape or glue. Tie these strings to a twig, a ruler, or two crisscrossed popsicle sticks to create a delightful hanging mobile for any room.
Select your favorite colorful budgies and carefully cut them out. Roll a small strip of construction paper into a finger-sized cylinder and secure it with glue. Attach your budgie cutout to the top of the cylinder to create an adorable finger puppet ready for storytelling.
Decorate the inside of a shoebox with construction paper to create a miniature aviary background, perhaps with branches or clouds. Cut out several budgies from your pages. Glue them directly to the “walls” or dangle them from the “ceiling” (the inside of the shoebox lid) using string for a vibrant 3D Budgie display.
Draw and cut out two large wing shapes from a sturdy piece of poster board. Cut out many smaller, colorful feather shapes from your finished Budgie coloring pages. Glue these “feathers” overlapping onto the poster board wings, then punch holes and tie elastic loops for a fun wearable costume.

Take a small brown paper bag or craft a tiny pouch from brown construction paper. Cut out a cheerful budgie image from your coloring pages and glue it onto the front of your “seed pouch.” Fill the pouch with crumpled paper or cotton balls to give it shape, making a cute prop for imaginative play.
Fold a piece of cardstock in half to create a card. Cut out a vibrant budgie from one of your coloring pages. Create a simple pop-up mechanism inside the card by making two short parallel cuts in the fold, then pushing the resulting flap inwards. Glue your budgie onto this flap so it “pops up” when the card opens, ready to surprise!
