Free Down Syndrome Awareness Candy Wrapper Printables

With World Down Syndrome Day 3-21 right upon us, I wanted to make candy wrappers for Holly's favorite chocolates (mine too), so she can share her favorite treat and message with others, Down Right Perfect! I had super fun making these Down Syndrome Awareness Candy Wrappers. My most favorite part is the nutrition label I created for the Hershey 1.55 ounce candy bar. It will surely bring a smile to all.

Down Syndrome Awareness Candy Wrapper Printables

Whether you are celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 3.21, Down Syndrome Awareness month in October, or simply sharing the journey we have been given with others, I hope you enjoy using these Down Syndrome Awareness, Down Right Perfect candy wrappers to spread the love and awareness to all.

Here is my Holly modeling the finished product! I know what she's thinking…I can't wait to eat this! LOL

These are super easy to make. I promise! I have several types of candy wrapper printables for you to choose from, Hershey 1.55 ounce candy bar, Hershey Nuggets, Hershey Miniature candy bars, and Hershey Kisses.

Select the candy wrapper you wish to use by clicking on the image (bottom of post) and print. I like to print out on photo or glossy paper but any paper or cardstock will do. Then, cut the candy wrappers out.

For the Down Right Perfect labels for the Hershey bars, you can either cut them or use a circle paper punch. I used a circle paper punch size 2 1/4″ for these labels. It leaves a white outer trim. For the smaller labels, I actually used a sticker paper but you can use a circle paper punch as well. The size of the circle is 1.25″. I used these to put on the Hershey Miniatures candies.
Grab the candy you'll be using.  You'll need tape or a non-toxic glue stick. I recommend double-sided tape. It works well!
Take the candy wrapper and wrap around the candy.  Then secure it by using the tape or non-toxic glue stick.

This is where I added the 1.25″ label. I think it's a nice added touch 🙂

I've also created some printables you can use on Hershey Kisses too! I've also added the sticker to individually wrapped mints and butterscotch discs. I used a sticker paper for this but once again, a .75″ circle paper punch works just as well.

Here is a picture with all the candy wrapped … LOVE it!!

and here is a close up of my favorite part! The nutrition label with a barcode even!

Have you ever heard the saying, “Down Syndrome is a Journey I Never Planned, BUT I Sure Do LOVE My Tour Guide”. I LOVE that saying. <3

This saying speaks so much truth to me…

On September 17, 2011, I gave birth to my 7th child, Holly Grace. I had a very healthy pregnancy. The ultrasound I had in May came back normal. After I gave birth, all of her brothers and sisters were in awe of their new sister. Then life took a twist and the doctor came in and asked them to all leave the room. She needed to speak to me alone. The doctor shared she had concerns about Holly being born with down syndrome and suggested testing to confirm the diagnosis. I was speechless and numb. I heard of down syndrome but knew nothing more than that. A week later, I received the official diagnosis. Holly was born with down syndrome  She was born with an extra chromosome, a third copy of the 21st chromosome. Although she has had and will have obstacles ahead, she sees the positive in this world. She sees the good and beauty in this world. She loves all people. She has brought joy and happiness to our family and to others.

She is unique. She loves to give hugs and to touch your hand. She loves to dance. She is our gift. We have been given a journey we didn't plan. Holly is our PERFECT tour guide. She is downright PERFECT!

To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, I created a video to share Our Journey with Our Tour Guide, Holly.

Also, in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day, 3 – 21 and Down Syndrome Awareness, I created printables our family has used and would like to share with you, your family, and friends.
